Dharma Works Foundation is happy to announce our latest project. We call this project The Perfection of Giving Project. The aim of this project is to help feed the homeless. We make packaged food care bags to pass out and each bag has a picture and mantra of Buddha Shakyamuni in addition to the food. We wish to help ease the sufferings of our kind mothers while providing them with the imprints to bless their mental continuums.
Happy Mother’s Day to all living beings. A day is set aside each year for us to honor our mother. But what about our past mothers? Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso tells us because we have been here since beginningless time, all living beings have been our mothers. Due to their great kindness, it is only fitting that we show love and compassion to all living beings. On this special day, let us reaffirm our commitments to love, honor and treasure our present mother as well as all our past mothers not for just one day, but everyday. May Buddha’s blessings flow down upon all our kind mothers.
We need your help! Festival season is upon us and requests are
coming in. The problem is that donations are not. We cannot keep up with the
requests for help. We were able to send some people to festival, for which we
are very happy about. Unfortunately, if we do not receive funds soon, we will
not be able to help. Any donation will be a big help and you can deduct your
kind gift off of your taxes. Please consider making a gift today. We all know
how special Festival is and the wonderful teachings we receive, so share this
kind gift with those who were kind to you (in this life, in past lives and in
future lives). Thank you.
We are now offering thank you gifts for your kind donation. For a $50 donation you will recive a Dharma bag. At the $100 donation level, you will recive a set of water offering bowls. Please check out our fundraising goal page to see the gifts and to make a donation.
We now have tax exempt status. Donations are tax deductible. We rejoice in the great kindness of others!
